Yield Calculator
Rewards, effective APY and the compounding effect
APY already includes compounding, while APR does not. This calculator lets you switch between simple and compounded accrual so the two are not confused — a 5% APR compounded daily is not the same number as 5% APY.
The effective yield shown annualises whatever the duration produces, which is useful for short windows where a headline APY does not fully apply.
Published yields float with validator performance, protocol emissions and fees, and the principal itself can fall in value. Yield on a volatile asset is not comparable to yield on cash.
