How bylines work

Each page shows its author and the date it was last updated directly under the title, and the same author is tagged in the page's structured data. Ranking pages are re-read on a schedule rather than left to rot: when a provider changes its terms, the row changes or the page comes down. Where a figure comes from an outside source - a rate table, an underwriting threshold, a tax limit - the page links to the official record so you can confirm it at source.

Standards and corrections
